Shaloh House Chabad of the South Area

presents the

Grand Jewish Renaissance Initiative

First Annual Fundraising Raffle

Shaloh House Chabad of the South Area, a growing Preschool/Kindergarten and Jewish Outreach Center located in Stoughton since 1978, is continuously expanding. When this past year children had to be turned away due to lack of space and our waiting lists were growing, the Board of Directors realized that Shaloh House had reached its physical limits. The Board realized that in order to continue to operate in a professional manner Shaloh House will need to expand its facility.

As a start to its building campaign, Shaloh House Chabad launched its first Jewish Renaissance Initiative Raffle. For many months volunteers were selling raffle tickets for this special cause. The raffle was set to give away $25,000 to 7 winners, with the top prize being $15,000.

On Saturday night, April 17th, 2004, the raffle was drawn, in the presence of the many potential winners who came to witness this historic drawing. Children were chosen to pick envelopes with the tickets sealed inside and then placed them into the winning slots ... and the winners were announced.

Congratulations to our winners!
