Dear Rabbi Gurkow:
I want to thank you for the knowledge you have given my son in the Shaloh House Hebrew School, and most especially, the love of Judaism you have instilled in him. Each time I watch him run down our upstairs hallway and leap to plant a kiss on the Mezuzah on his doorway, I think that he has learned from knowing you. You are a warm and caring man and an excellent teacher.
Most Sincerely,
J.M.
Dear Rabbi Gurkow:
I wrote to thank you for teaching me Hebrew and for Bar Mitzvahing me. I haven’t forgotten a word.
Thank You.

Dear Rabbi Gurkow:
I would like to take this chance to thank you for many things. You have not only taught me about being Jewish, but you have taught me how to be a good person. I have learned how to control myself and respect adults. You have taught me all about the holidays and what it means to be Jewish. I’m now trying to teach my family how to celebrate the holidays correctly.
Sincerely,
C.P.
