Shaloh House Chabad of the South Area in Stoughton has been hosting public menorah celebrations for 33 years, but after the stabbings at a rabbi’s home in Monsey, N.Y., left five injured Dec. 28 a record number showed up at the Shell gas station at Cobb Corner to celebrate the final night of Hanukkah the following night. KEEPING THE FAITH: There's a bigger question when we reopen communities

As we consider reopening our communities, we are asking how this will happen. Some say that things will never be the same, and that social distancing will become the new reality. Others talk about a new surge which may be worse than the current surge. The big question we have is, how will schools reopen, how will theaters open, will the baseball game park experience ever be the same, etc.
Honestly, none of this worries me as much as the question of, what have we learned as a society? Will we still strive to seek our individual gains at the expense of others? Will we be focused on our individual interest and indulges without the consideration of a greater purpose, and what about the interests of the greater community? READ MORE >>
